Quick start

You need a site served over HTTP or HTTPS and access to its DNS.

1. Add your site

In the dashboard choose Sites → Add site and enter the hostname visitors use, for example www.example.com, and the address of your origin.

2. Verify the origin

We send a test request to your origin and show the response headers. Make sure your origin returns Cache-Control headers for static files.

3. Point DNS at Cache.bz

Create a CNAME record:

www.example.com.  300  IN  CNAME  example-com.edge.cache.bz.

For an apex domain use our anycast addresses shown in the dashboard, or a DNS provider that supports CNAME flattening.

4. Check it works

$ curl -sI https://www.example.com/logo.png | grep -i cache
cache-status: HIT
x-cache-pop: AMS
The first request for each file is a MISS; the next one from the same region is a HIT.
